Feel Good Fest 2022 will again be an online stream this year.
Sunday 29th May 2022 –
10am until 10pm
Last year our 12 hour stream went extremely well and we raised a total of £1135 in the 12 hours. All the funds were donated to Mind Northamptonshire via our Just Giving Page. We are hoping to get a similar level of support this year so please join us on the day via our twitch stream.
We had an amazing line up of DJ’s last year many of which have already confirmed their involvement this year. Full line up to follow but please read about last years DJs below.
Feel Good Fest organiser DJ Tom Deacon will be gracing the decks! Tom has 20 years of entertaining under his belt and has held residencies at various venues in Kettering town for the last 10 years. Tom is well known for getting the crowd going with his blend of dance anthems and mash ups! He may also throw a few old ones in to get the crowd singing along!
Fellow Feel Good Fest organiser Glenn has been a Northamptonshire club DJ for the majority of his 29 year career. He decided to hang up his headphones and retire last year but we have dragged him back out for a set this year. Prior to retiring he was most recently found at NB’s Northampton as the Friday and Saturday night resident DJ. He had held the Friday night for an impressive 17 years and the Saturday for the last 6 years. Glenn has been fortunate enough to work many of the top venues in the county and beyond. He normally takes us back in time for his sets at Feel Good Fest by bringing us some classic 90s dance anthems. This year however we are not sure what he is playing. Whatever it is we can’t wait to hear his set!
Samas has been a regular on the midlands circuit since 2001, playing in Oxford, Cheltenham, Birmingham and more. His event Stimulus has been running for nearly 20 years, bringing a full spectrum of D&B artists from Andy C to Zinc. We look forward to hearing what he has on offer for us!
Sam is joining us for the third year! Looking forward to hearing what he’s got in store for us!!
Another DJ back for the second year running! Local OAP DJ Guy Garrett will be playing feel good funk grooves on a sunny Sunday afternoon, expect James Brown, Grandmaster Flash, Chic, Sylvester! His words, not ours! 😂
Dj O.P.1 is back once again! A party rocking turntablist, who’s roots are in hiphop but is never shy of digging into a crate of any genre. If it’s good music he’ll play it. Over his career, he’s dj’d up and down the country, supporting lots of big names including Grandmaster Flash, Pharoah Minch, R.A the Rugged Man, Dom Letts, Goldie Looking Chain as well as being the DJ for Leeds rapper ExP. He’s featured several times on BBC’s Introducing and is a regular fixture at venues, shows and festivals. Check him, he’s dope
DJ Bazz Facey is a new DJ for this years event! He has over 20 years experience playing in venues across London and the midlands. Locally he had long term residencies in the noughties in Kettering (Notably Xtra) where he helped break attendance and takings records with flawless beat matching, looping and a cheeky wit. Bazz will be playing HipHop/RnB from UK & US artists!
Fabian is multi genre Dj and owner of That’s Entertainment DJs with over 10yrs experience. Born and raised in Jamaica, Fabian is a lover of Reggae, Dancehall, RnB and Hip Hop. Having moved to the UK and found a new type of music. He has now thrived in putting all his knowledge into mixing all these genres just to entertain. Join him at feel good fest where his skills will be on display!
Chris has been a DJ for more than 30 years in many venues and playing various music genres. House to urban to drum & bass and trance to name but a few. What will he play – who knows – but hopefully you’ll be bouncing, smiling and singing along!
Percy Williams has been live streaming throughout lock down performing his Saturday Night Club Classics through the Decades but better known for working the Northamptonshire pubs and clubs, Rumours, Secrets, Network and Evolution, in the late 80’s early 90’s. As you can imagine, Percy’s music knowledge spans a wide variety of genres and he will be doing a live stream playing soulful and reggae classics.
DJ Jason Lee is a Professional DJ & VJ. He can often be seen at some of Northamptonshire’s busiest venues as well as at a Butlins near you. His music selection, mixing skills and ability to entertain a crowd of any age means he can pack a dancefloor with ease. We look forward to seeing what he does for his set at Feel Good Fest 2021.
Feel Good newbie Sam Buckby loves to play multiple genres from Afro House to Tech House and occasionally even some Dubstep. On the day he will stick to mostly one of his favourite genres; Funky House. Expect some remixes of classic tunes from years gone by and lots of Hip Hop samples!
